Finn Skovgaard

Finn Skovgaard The company director is Finn Skovgaard. More than 20 years experience in the information technology business has taken him around Europe. Born in Denmark in 1960, he emigrated in 1993. He has lived and worked in England, Luxembourg and Germany. Since 1998, he has lived in France. Through this enriching experience, he has acquired a thorough understanding of cultural and practical differences and similarities in Europe. Based on theory and practice, he has a well-founded knowledge of how the so-called European Single Market works, sometimes doesn't work, and how to make the most of it. His habit of not giving up when meeting an obstacle has rewarded him with the knowledge of how to cut through red tape efficiently. His approach to challenges is organised and systematic. He is well informed about European Single Market law and how to deal with particularly the French administration. He has studied French language and culture for a total of six years. His three years in England and two years in Luxembourg, where he worked with British expats, have put him in a situation to focus particularly on the needs of British expats.

Finn Skovgaard is a regular contributor to the Weekly Telegraph's Expat Noticeboard, helping other readers with information about France, and he is the Weekly Telegraph's mentor for France.

logo Our Logo

At first glance, our logo may look like a coloured "S". It is indeed a side-effect that it looks like the first letter of our business name, but that is not the reason.
First of all, you may notice that we have used the colours of the EU flag to indicate that we work with European issues.
We also wanted a airy logo that gives the impression of lightness and a dynamic attitude: We're flexible and adapt our services to you all along.
The two coloured curves are seen to be thinner and thinner as they approach and integrate. This is to hint at the process of an expat integrating in his new country, each one adapting to the other.
Finally, the two coloured curves create a zigzag path through the logo. This indicates our task in making the difficult integration path accessible to you.
The logo is designed by Finn Skovgaard.
